Cotswold TV
Tom Wakefield’s Production Company
Established in 1999, Tom Wakefield launched Furry Feet Studios, a multimedia company creating everything from logos and branding to websites and promotional materials.
With a passion for film and video production - and a firm determination to avoid becoming a wedding videographer! Tom began incorporating video into websites long before online video became mainstream. Back when YouTube was largely known for entertaining clips and viral moments, he launched Cotswold TV.
Originally created as a local online TV channel, Cotswold TV showcased charities, community groups, local events and inspiring stories across the region, all free of charge and funded by the support of local businesses. Alongside the community coverage, businesses could feature in interviews and promotional films to help raise their profile.
Over the years, Cotswold TV produced thousands of videos and built a reputation for authentic storytelling. As the costs of community broadcasting increased, the focus gradually shifted towards creating content directly for the businesses and organisations that had supported the channel from the beginning.
Today, more than 25 years later, Cotswold TV provides professional video production for businesses, charities and organisations across the UK. The equipment has evolved, the platforms have changed, and the industry has transformed—but the philosophy remains the same: tell real stories, create engaging content, and produce films that people genuinely want to watch.
After 25 years and thousands of interviews, Tom's greatest asset isn't the cameras he uses—it's his ability to make people comfortable in front of them.
From first-time interviewees to CEOs of national organisations, people often tell us the same thing: "That was much easier than I expected."
The result is authentic, engaging content that feels less like a corporate video and more like a genuine conversation.
